A trip to Los Angeles provides the tourists more than their expectations. The visit to LA cheers everyone’s mood. The sightseeing options in LA are vast. There is something for everyone in a Los Angeles holiday. While in LA, here are some places to visit.

The Universal Studios guarantee limitless fun and entertainment. This famous theme park has many rides that are based on the concepts of many popular Hollywood flicks. The famous rides include The Revenge of the Mummy. It is a ghost train that features fabulous animatronics. Also there is a water world show, where you experience a large plane thrown over your head. There is Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in LA which is famous for its first movie. It was the first ever silent movie. It is also the place where the Academy award’s red carpet ceremony starts. The famous walk of fame is outside this theatre only. There are handprints and footprints of many famous movie stars and celebrities on the Walk of Fame.

The Getty Center is very popular among history lovers. It consists of Greek and Roman antiquities, European paintings, manuscripts, sculpture and decorative arts. The museum has superb architecture and spectacular views. There is also a Disneyland in California. Although it is smaller than the one in Florida, but it is still as much enjoyable. It is truly children’s heaven with all its rides, shows and famous Disney characters. There are various laser and fireworks shows for the adults. But get ready to wait in the long queues for the rides.

The Venice Beach is perhaps the most popular beach of LA because of its various activities and surrounding attractions. The beach is famous for biking, rollerblading, swimming, sunbathing and weightlifting. Also the Venice canals and the Marina del rey canals are nearby. In the Beverly Hills, the Rodeo Drive is very famous for its upscale shopping. The Los Angeles Zoo is a nice place to hang out with your family. Beside the animals, there are many educational trips and exhibitions too.

The Griffith Park Observatory allows people to view complete Los Angeles along with the Hollywood sign. Also, being a planetarium, it is the home to many interesting facts about the universe.

With so much to see , LA is definitely a hit among people of all ages.
