Sicily: Island of red oranges
The Mediterranean’s Biggest island is one of the Most popular destinations for foreigners
The Mediterranean’s biggest island is separated from the mainland by the strait of Messina. A mountainous spot, Sicily’s coast and its small islands sit at the foot of volcanoes, including Etna, Stromboli and Vulcano.
The Greeks, Romans, Normans and Catalans all left their mark on the island in the form of Byzantine palaces, Gothic castles and Baroque flourishes in capital Palermo. Most larger towns offer interesting museums , but Etna and the Hellenic temples in Agrigento offer particularly unique sights.

Everybody wants to
have a week’s vacation with their friends or family. But the cost of traveling,
whether you are with a group or you are alone, can sometimes cost you an arm
and a leg! However, that would be the case if you want to spend your holidays
on expensive islands like those found in the Caribbean,
or cruising around the world for a couple of days. The joy of traveling and
exploring new places may also come at low prices, as well. There are cheap
holiday packages to be found, that you can book and experience – even if you do
not have that much extra cash in your pocket.

Shore Excursions – Dubrovnik
The tourist season in Croatia has kicked off with a good start. Over the next couple of months the life on the Adriatic coast becomes one hectic beehive.
Down in the deep south, Dubrovnik becomes an open stage where the rich, the famous, the wannabees mingle together during Dubrovnik Festival and where joy and laughter can be heard at every street corner. What is more, the life in the Old Town never ceases to stop. The hordes of night birds are replaced by ever excited tourists from the visiting cruisers. Mesmerizing looks on their faces are truly justifying Bernard Shaw’s famous sentence comparing Dubrovnik to paradise.
City wall walk is on a must to do list of every cruiser tourist. Do not forget to take some water with you as the heat can get the better of you. Also, remember that you can safely withdraw local currency (kunas) from ATMs and what is more you can use your card safely at POS terminals.
