Buying a personal jet can be a big, and somewhat confusing process. Many people don’t even know where to start. You can’t just go out and buy a personal jet at your local general store. Basically, the message I am trying to get across is that there is a lot more to buying a jet than someone would think.
When you are considering to buy a jet, you must to a cost and benefit analysis. Travel experts say that in order to really make your jet worth what you paid for, you should be flying in it 350 to 400 hours every year. There are about 8765 hours in a year, which means to make the cost of a personal or private jet worthwhile, you need to spend about 4% of your year up in the air flying somewhere. If you aren’t flying that much, you may want to look into partial ownership of a personal jet to make your money worthwhile.

Do you dream of being whisked off to a tropical island in a private jet? I bet you think it’s out of your budget – maybe not. Consider it your Rolls Royce and indulge yourself a least once in a lifetime. Is it worth the cost of a private jet? Absolutely!
There are two main reasons for you to hire a private jet aircraft. The first is an emergency the second is to spoil yourself and everyone should have at least one lifetime vacation they talk about forever. Sure the tropical island’s certainly nice but you can give it some “pop” by adding the private jet.

While most of us are wondering if it’s safe to fly in today’s world or weather we want to jump the hoops just to catch a plane, celebrities are jet setting around the globe racking up miles on celebrity private jets.
Tony Blair enraged environmental groups when he said he was not about to give up long haul flights. Even though the amount of emissions that the airline contributes to green house gasses is very small environmentalists feel it as important part of cutting out carbon emissions. While some of us may be thinking twice about whether we should fly for what ever reason the celebrities are jumping on their celebrity private jets.

More and more company’s are turning to private business jets to get around the country but is it really necessary or is it just the perfect executive toy ?
When it comes to the modern CEO they’ll be quick to tell you the sky’s the limit with the use of private business jets on the rise. But is that rise the result of more business travel or an increase in personal use?
USA Today reported that in 2004 more than 100 senior managers rang up more than $100,000 in private business jet costs while more than 250 CEO’s rang up over $50,000 in personal flights. Since then it is estimated that those numbers have more than doubled.
